Social-Emotional Learning will allow us to support our students’ successful transition back to school. And it benefits us as well as we return to work given the new “norm.”

Savanna Flakes is an international education consultant specializing in Inclusive Practices, Special Education, and Social-Emotional Learning. Savanna has worked with school communities around the world to build teacher leaders and support effective instructional practices for students with exceptionalities.
Savanna has published instructional articles and handbooks on literacy interventions for struggling readers, specially designed instruction, and social-emotional learning. She is working to utilize her education, training, and passion to positively impact the lives of teachers, children, and families by coaching school communities on effective instructional and inclusive practices to reach ALL learners. Savanna is a “possibilitarian,” she believes everything is possible with a great teacher and every child can be successful.
