The “Money, Money, Money” unit is designed for beginning English speakers in grades 3-5. It contains 12 lessons that are each approximately 45 minutes in length. This unit can be easily adjusted to meet the needs of K-2 and/or intermediate English proficiency students.
“Money, Money, Money” is a project-focused unit where students are energized by the project launch in Lesson 1 and work toward developing the language and concepts needed for the project throughout the unit. The final project for this unit requires students to work collaboratively to create a narrative or skit where the characters need to make a decision that involves spending money.
This unit integrates math and language arts concepts with language development standards.
