The “Counting Money” mini-unit is designed for beginning English speakers in grades 3-5. This unit is part of the "Money, Money, Money" curriculum bundle and is meant to follow the "Money, Money, Money" Unit.
"Counting Money" contains 5 lessons that are each approximately 45 minutes in length. This unit can be easily adjusted to meet the needs of K-2 and/or intermediate English proficiency students.
This unit is designed to engage students in the continued practice of counting money and solving money related problems, while providing support for focused academic language and literacy development.
